Our Private Bed and Breakfast Cottage is located on the North Side of the island of Kauai, where prevailing trade winds provide a natural air conditioning. We enjoy views of Wainiha River and mountains, while the lull of crashing waves roll a rhythmic ocean soundtrack right up the valley! We are two miles from Tunnels Beach (of Bali Hai fame) and four miles from Ke’e beach, the spectacular trailhead of the eminent Kalalau Trail, the gateway to the Napali Coastline.

Even closer is renowned Lumahai Beach (of South Pacific fame) and a few more miles from Lumahai is the charming town of Hanalei resting on the shore of the grand two and half mile crescent sand beach of Hanalei Bay!!

Swimming, fishing, surfing, snorkeling, diving, hiking, kayaking, windsurfing, kite-boarding, paddle and boogie boarding, relaxing, shopping, historic locations and museums, numerous restaurants, PLUS more are waiting for you on the lush North Shore HERE at Kauai Valley Cottage Retreat, A Private Bed and Breakfast!
